Become a Tutor

Highline College is one of the few colleges in the nation that offers national CRLA Tutoring Certification.

Our tutors are students at Highline College who have been successful in the courses they tutor. All tutors are recommended by their instructors and are required to participate in weekly training sessions for which they have the option to receive credit.

All tutors are required to participate in ongoing training. The goal of our tutor training program is to help tutors to promote student independence, active learning, and motivation.
