Welcome to the Tutoring Center

We offer tutoring for many subjects, except for Math and Writing. Assistance is available free of charge to any student currently enrolled at Highline College.

The Tutoring Center provides academic support in an open atmosphere of learning. We assist students in numerous academic disciplines through a variety of tutoring techniques by addressing each student’s individual needs in a constructive and supportive environment. We work closely with our faculty, as well as other offices, that support student services.

How it Works

All tutored subjects are scheduled at specific times throughout the week. Tutoring is drop-in only. There is no need to make an appointment. If you need a tutor and would like to know what time one is scheduled, check the tutoring schedules, or come in to the Tutoring Center in Building 25, 6th Floor.

We have computers available for use in the Tutoring Center as well as books and calculators. All you need to bring is a valid HC Student ID to check out any of the materials.

Fall, Winter & Spring Hours

Opens on the first Wednesday and ends on Wednesday of the final’s week.

Opens on Tuesday (8:00 a.m.) of Week #1 and ends on Wednesday of Week #8.

Mission Statement
